We are pleased to announce the promotion of Momchil Denchev to Partner of Milanova & Partners as of 1st January 2025.

Momchil is a fully-qualified lawyer with over 12 years of professional experience and a member of the Sofia Bar Association. His expertise is in the field of corporate and commercial law with a focus on life-sciences, pharmaceutical law and clinical trials.

In addition to his LLM degree from Sofia University, Faculty of Law, Momchil  also holds a second Master`s degree in Healthcare Management and a Specialization at Harvard Associated Center for Economic Strategies and Competitiveness.

Over the years,  Momchil has been advising companies in an ample scope of legal topics, including M&A and regulatory matters, development of innovative products and services in accordance with the EU and local regulations, structuring the legal framework for relations with customers and partners, raising of funds, implementing employee share option schemes, exits through mergers, acquisitions or joint venture splits.

In the live-sciences and pharmaceutical area, Momchil has gained extensive experience as a legal advisor of several pharmaceutical companies. His works included ongoing advice on conduct of clinical trials in Bulgaria, market access of new INNs, negotiation of prices with the public health fund in Bulgaria, review of discount and distribution agreements for pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Momchil has experience in pharmaceutical advertising, communication with HCOs and HCPs, realization of diagnostic, co-payment, and patient programs.
